Description
This position performs entry level work in support of the law enforcement functions of the agency. The majority of duties involve serving legal documents pursuant to statutory guidelines within the Civil Division. Employees in this classification perform routine field work as prescribed in Chapter 48 of the Florida State Statutes. The position is responsible for the delivery, recording and distribution of legal documents including, but not necessarily limited to, non-enforceable writs, subpoenas, and criminal summons. To be successful in this position, the employee must demonstrate competency time management skills, basic to intermediate computer skills, general communication skills (both written and oral), inter-personal skills, customer service skills, problem solving skills and basic driving skills.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; AND
- Must have a valid Florida Drivers License.
- Must be able to lift, push, carry or pull a minimum of 25 pounds independently.
- Position requires constant safe operation of a motor vehicle.
- Requires some combination of reaching, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Work is performed with exposure to risk and elements including bright/dim light, dusts, pollen, extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions, fluctuating noise levels, traffic conditions, animals/wildlife, and pathogens.
- Position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing and speaking.
