Eastern Washington University (EWU) is seeking dedicated, community-minded, and team-oriented professionals to serve as Campus Police Officers. As a Campus Police Officer, you will perform a wide range of general law enforcement duties to protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances, maintain public order, and proactively prevent, investigate, and respond to criminal activity. Officers play a vital role in building positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and visitors while supporting EWU’s mission of learning and inclusion.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $70,812 (minimum) to $95,220 (maximum)
Starting salary is commensurate with education, experience, and demonstrated skills.

Requirements
High school graduation or GED
Minimum age of 21 years
Valid driver’s license
No previous felony convictions
Two years of full time college in Police Science or allied field OR one year of police or campus security experience.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications, except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public.
